I’m having trouble deciding. How do I know it’s the right toy for me?

I have my eye on a particular product but I still have some questions. Where do I get more information?

Do your products include batteries?
Excepting eventually some gift products, all our vibrating products contain batteries, power packs and/or cables.

Help my toy won’t turn on!
Make sure to follow the instructions included with your new toy.

For battery-operated toys, make sure you’ve inspected the battery compartment, placed batteries in their proper positions, and screwed the cap on tightly.

Most rechargeable toys need to be given a full charge before use so let the toy charge to completion before using it for the first time. Refer to the information booklet included for specific charging instructions. Doing so protects the integrity of the battery, much like a cell phone or any other product with a rechargeable battery.

What if I lose or break my charger for the rechargeable toy?
At this time, Empower Pleasure doesn’t carry replacement chargers. Please contact the manufacturer directly and they will happily assist you!

I don’t like this toy, what now?
Bummer! All of our products are amazing and high-quality but we can always account for personal preferences. Sometimes finding the right one is a bit of trial and error since we can’t realistically offer test-runs before purchase. Luckily, sex toys are versatile, and can be used so many different ways. Feel free to get creative with how you use your toy as it can take a little experimentation to find your sweet spot with a new toy. Vibrating cock rings, dildos, and butt toys can always make for great external vibrators, masturbation sleeves and are great for slipping over a vibrator for some extra texture, and any vibrator makes for a great body massager. Feel free to leave toy reviews with your specific feedback or send us your opinions for future improvements.

How do I clean my toys?
Get in the habit of washing your toys before and after each use. Please refer to your toy’s guide to find instructions for washing the specific material your toy is made from.

What kind of lubes can I use with my toys?
All of our products are compatible with the lubes sold on our site. Just make sure to follow instructions and be sure to clean toys before and after each use.

I drank a bottle of lube, will I be okay?
While we don’t recommend this, all of our lubes are body safe, ingestible, and non-toxic. For your reference, ingredients can be found on the product page as well as on the product packaging.

Can I put this in my butt?
As a general rule of thumb, do not insert anything anally unless it has a definite stopping point (such as a base) or a strong, reinforced pull cord (kegel balls for instance do not have pull cords strong enough to make them safe for anal use). This is because the anus has a vacuum-like quality to it and it’s very easy for toys to get sucked inside due to the great amount of pressure the butt has. Unlike the vaginal canal, there is no end to the anal canal and if the toy were to reach the colon it would pose a great health risk and medical assistance would be required immediately. Empower Pleasure is not liable for the misuse of toys resulting in medical injury.

Are these products safe for use?
These products are sold for the intended use only; we are not responsible for any physical harm caused by any of the products sold herein.

Can I transmit STIS/STDS by sharing this toy?
Any STI that can be transmitted through sexual activity can be spread via a shared sex toy — including STIs that are spread via bodily fluids and those spread through skin-to-skin contact. In addition, you can also get a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or urinary tract infection from improper sharing of a sex toy. Placing a condom over a toy is a great way to make clean-up easy while also preventing the transmission of STIs. In general, we recommend using your sex toys responsibly and keeping them as clean as possible, especially when sharing with a partner to avoid any issues. 

I feel pain in the pubic area after using a strap-on dildo. Is this normal?
This is quite normal. Unlike in a heterosexual couple, the pubic areas of lesbian couples are not accustomed to receiving small impacts so the nerve endings are very sensitive. A woman wearing a harness must start slowly and once the pubic area has become accustomed, you can increase the intensity. After you have used it two or three times, your public area will be used to it and you won't experience any more pain. When you start, you can slip a sock between the sex toy and your pubis to cushion it against the impacts.

Is this toy waterproof?
Please refer to the product packaging to verify whether a product is waterproof. If a toy plugs into a wall outlet, do not use the toy near water. Empower Pleasure is not liable for any injury resulting from misuse of a toy.

Orders, Shipping, & Returns

What information do you collect when placing an order? Why?
We collect your email address for emailing you an order confirmation; we do not share your email address with any third parties that will send you unwanted or spam mail. Your email address is used solely for use between you (buyer) and empowerpleasure.com to respond to any inquiries regarding orders or products and to comply with any requirements of law i.e.: verification for suspected fraudulent activities. Your shipping address is collected for shipping purposes and is used between empowerpleasure.com and the selected carrier only. Billing information is collected after you place your order for interoffice use only. Your billing information may only be disclosed to the issuing bank for verification purposes.

Will my order be shipped in discreet packaging?
Absolutely! Empower Pleasure offers fully discreet packaging. Your order will arrive in secure packaging with no outside markings or branding.

I received my order but some items are missing?
All Empower Pleasure Merch (shirts, pins, bags, etc.) will ship separately from the more adult category of the website (toys, lubes, harnesses, etc.) So you might get one part of your order a little sooner than the other, but don’t worry everything is on the way!

What will I see on my credit card statement as the purchase description?
We do not specify the type of products you bought. Your credit card statement will say either “Web Merchants” or just "empowerpleasure.com." Please refer to our Privacy Policy page.

Can I pay with PayPal?
Yes, select the PayPal button on the checkout.

How long does it take my order to get to me?
We will ship all orders on the same day or the next day. Because of mail delays, some orders might take slightly longer than usual to arrive. We cannot offer any discounts or refunds for any orders that do not arrive by a specific date. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!

I haven't received my order yet, where is it?
All orders placed on our website receive updates. As soon a shipping label is generated for your order, you will receive a tracking number which can be used to track your order.

How do I get a tracking number for my package?

How do I ship to an address that isn't mine?
When placing an order, you can choose a different shipping address as your billing address on the shopping cart pages before checking out.

Do I need to create an account and log-in when purchasing? Why should I?
It’s completely up to you. Some folks choose to create an account for a smoother shopping experience. When you have an account, you simply login and all your account details are automatically available (like your shipping address) so you don’t have to re-enter the same things every time. You’ll also have a neat record of all your transactions. If it’s not your thing, no problem, do whatever feels right to you.

How do I cancel my order?
If you placed an order by mistake and wish to cancel, it’s important to notify us right away. Please note that your order cannot be cancelled once it goes for processing.

Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship internationally to select countries! Please note that Empower Pleasure is not responsible for any fees, including customs, tariffs or taxes imposed by the country of destination.  Empower Pleasure is not responsible if your products are turned away at customs, if the destination country does not allow adult products to enter its border or if it’s criminal to possess an adult product generally or specifically. It is expected that the customer who placed the order is aware of the laws and policies of their home country and if you aren’t sure, we recommend you research prior to placing an order.

My order is lost, was stolen, or never arrived. What do I do?
Empower Pleasure is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once a package leaves our warehouse with a shipping carrier (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.), you must follow up with the carrier directly to file a claim on a missing package. Please note you do not have to disclose the nature of the products in the lost package to the shipping carrier. We recommend filing claims on lost packages as soon as possible.

What is your return policy?
We sincerely thank you for choosing Empower Pleasure. However, for obvious health and safety reasons, all sales on Empower Pleasure are necessarily final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any products.

If you think that you ordered the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible. If we haven’t packed your order yet, we’ll happily assist you in changing your order. However, once it’s been packed, there is nothing we can do to stop it from shipping out.

If you believe we shipped you the wrong product, please do not open the product package. Take a picture of the product in the box and email us with your order information ASAP!

If your product is damaged or defective upon receipt, please contact us to request an exchange. If we are out of stock of that item, a store credit will be issued for the full price paid.

If your product stops functioning within 30 days of receipt and you have not done anything unusual to cause the product to stop working, please contact us to request an exchange. If we are out of stock of that item, a store credit will be issued for the full price paid. If your item is covered under manufacturer’s warranty, we recommend reaching out to the vendor directly! If you’ve reached out and the vendor is non-responsive, please let us know, we’ll do everything we can to help.

In the event an exchange is initiated, please make sure you have all the product parts, accessories, and packaging included in the return package for the exchange to be finalized. DO NOT SEND YOUR PRODUCT BACK UNLESS YOU HAVE RECEIVED A RETURN MERCHANDIZE AUTHORIZATION (RMA). If you send your opened product back with an RMA, it will be disposed of and no refund or credit will be given. We are sorry, but no exceptions can be made.

Occasionally due to differences in screens, lighting or photographs, colors may be different than you expect. We do our best to make sure this isn’t an issue, but Empower Pleasure is not responsible for these differences. To make sure you are choosing the correct sized product, please look for the specs to see the dimensions. We do our best to make sure the given measurements are accurate but cannot be held accountable if there are subtle variations due to mis-measurement or faulty production by the manufacturer. If you find that measurements are way off from the manufacturers listed specs, please let us know so we can contact the vendor!

I haven't gotten my refund yet, when should it show up on my bill?
Credit card refunds will appear on your statement in the next billing cycle or, in the case of online banking, should appear in your account within 10 business days. Please refer to our Refund Policy.

Do you refund shipping charges?
We refund shipping charges in the following cases:

  1. We shipped an incorrect product.
  2. We shipped a broken or defective product.

If we re-ship a product in these cases, we do not add another shipping charge.

I want to Empower Pleasure. Tell me about your Affiliate program!
The Empower Pleasure affiliate program is a way that you can make money from your existing network, blogs, articles. By joining the program, you will be issued a unique referral code which you can then share with your network (social media accounts, website, blog, etc.) When someone shops our website using your code, the sale will be attributed to you.

You will earn from 10% commission of each sale generated via your unique referral code.

Bottom line - Why should I become an Affiliate?
It’s a great and simple way to make money from your existing network. There is not limit on what you can earn and it’s a great way to support a brand who shares your values.

How does the affiliate program work?
Once your registration has been approved, you can login into your account where you will find your unique referral code which can be shared amongst your network. You will also be able to track commission earnt from your unique code by logging into your account.

How do I promote this to my network?
There are lots of ways you can promote your unique referral code. Some of the ways you can do this include sharing your code on social media, on your website, or writing a blog post including a link to your code.

How do you track sales?
Since your referral code is unique to you, it’s a perfect way to track sales. Sales and commissions via your unique code can also be tracked by you simply by logging into your affiliate account.

How much commission do I get paid?
Our commission rate starts at 10% and increases based on performance.

When will I get paid my commission?
When you have been approved as an affiliate, make sure you enter either your bank details or details of your PayPal/VENMO account. Your commission will be paid into your preferred method. Commission is issued at the end of every calendar month.

Please note if an item is cancelled or returned, your commission will be disapproved and non-payable.
